PressReader has the best newspapers and magazines from around the world. However, sometimes the right information is delivered in a language your patron does not understand.
Our newest feature — Auto-Translate — allows your passenger to read the world’s best publications in their native language. Get more out of PressReader by letting your guests access global and local publications in business, politics, lifestyle or sports, regardless of their original language.
It's simple! This is how it works:
Step 1: In the app, open your desired publication.
Step 2: Click on the title you want to read in Text View. Tap on the three dots and select Translate.
Step 3: Choose the language you would like to translate to.
Step 4: When prompted: "Enable automatic translation for these languages?" click YES.
Automatically, the full publication will be translated to their desired language. Any other publications with the same origin language will automatically be translated as well. For more information, on how to do this, or help them manage their language preferences, click here.
How can this help you? Auto-Translate lets your users:
Access more quality content. Read The Guardian in German, or Le Figaro in English – it is all possible with a click-of-a-button.
Set it and forget it! Patrons can personalize their experience. They only have to set the language once and we will automatically translate full publications into their language every time.
Broader or deeper, get the information you need. Empower researchers and analysts. Cater to the diverse language needs of your patrons. Give them access to multiple points of view from different countries, or get in-depth election coverage, right from the source.
Thanks for reading,
The PressReader Team
